New Member Application
SUMMARY OF THE MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION PROCESS.
Applications to join the Society from those interested in the study of Arms and Armour are welcome.
The Society was formed in 1950 to bring together enthusiasts, collectors, scholars and professional experts to further the study, collection and preservation of arms and armour.
Members have a broad range of interests including armour, edged weapons, firearms, and other military and civilian arms from all over the world and from all periods.
Members are entitled to attend the Society’s regular monthly meetings and to receive the regular biannual Bulletin and Journal.

The minimum age for membership is 18 years.
Application for membership is by completion of an application form, which will be considered at the next quarterly Council meeting. Applicants may be contacted by a member of Council should clarification of the application be necessary.
Please note, the Society is committed to civil and respectful conduct and discriminatory, and poor or unsafe behaviour are not tolerated and will result in termination of membership.
Membership of the Society shall be considered provisional for the first twelve months and will then be confirmed by Council, subject to the member having attended a minimum of two of the Society’s meetings in the twelve months and no other issues arising.
